Our goal

Naviloo® makes sustainable sailing accessible to everyone. Without renovations, without a sewage tank. Ideal for older and smaller boats where space is limited and a larger separation toilet is not an option. This way you can sail freely and in an environmentally conscious way, while maintaining comfort.

Background information

Under Dutch regulations for recreational vessels, discharging toilet waste into surface water is prohibited. Nevertheless, this still happens frequently, leading to pollution of rivers, lakes, and swimming waters.

Many boats are equipped with a sewage holding tank, but for a large number of vessels this is not a viable solution. Limited space, high costs, or technical constraints often make installation impossible, while sealing the hull outlet is an unreliable alternative.

Naviloo® changes this. The Naviloo® toilet insert offers a simple, compliant solution and fits most standard marine toilets—no tank, no modifications required.

The start of Naviloo®

The idea for Naviloo® arose from a very practical frustration on board. I didn't want to install a sewage tank: too expensive, too complex and often drastic for an existing boat. At the same time, I was looking for a neat, environmentally conscious solution that complied with the rules and was pleasant to use.

Why should a separation toilet always mean that you have to renovate, adjust or invest in a completely new system? That had to be simpler. Naviloo® was born from that idea: a smart, affordable product that fits on existing, old-fashioned on-board toilets. No demolition, no refit, no permanent adjustments.

Naviloo® makes it possible to separate urine and solids without changing the toilet or the boat. This combines the advantages of a separation toilet with the convenience of what is already there. Exactly as it was intended: practical, accessible and directly applicable.
